What Do I Need?
A common misconception when buying topsoil is that the darker the soil is, the better. Although a darker color can be associated with high amount of organic matter (i.e. a good thing), it can also mean the soils have come from wetland areas (i.e. a bad thing, which we don't do).
The best way to choose the type of soil needed for your project is to simply know what the project is. That's it.
